from dungeon to nursery PART II

Progress!

nursery progress

The demolition went good... except that we saw how much real work we are going to have... and it was a lot more than we thought.

The cabinets have been painted and I am in the progress of painting the drawers and installing the hardware.

The closet turned out awesome. The doors are off. The inside and the frame are painted and we installed some shelving.

I bought some fabric from Ikea today for some closet curtains. I (we) didn't want to go with something baby-ish and decided on this one. I LOVE IT and can't wait to see them hanging.

The beam/ ceiling is painted white and one coat of wall color has been applied.

some more drawers are waiting to be done.

There was so so much more work to do... trimming, cutting, sanding, glazing, coating, etc, etc...

It seems like every time we start a new job, five other things need to be done.

But we are getting there!

The only thing that is still missing is ELECTRICITY!

Told you it was a dungeon...
