Are you hungry?

I bet this will make you hungry.

Flammkuchen. A French/ German recipe called flamecake. We call it Bacon Pizza. We are sophisticated like that!

Here is what you need:

Pillsbury pizza dough thin crust, onion, Bacon, Sour Cream, Nutmeg

cut the onion in VERY thin slices. You should be able to see through the slices. And cut the bacon in bite size pieces.

Roll the dough on a cookie sheet or I use the Pampered Chef pizza stone. Make sure you roll it really, really thin. It is okay to cut away excess dough.

Spread the sour cream all over the dough. If you want you can season it with pepper. I wouldn't use salt since the bacon is already salty enough.

Spread the onion slices in a thick layer on the sour cream.

Now do the same with the bacon. A nice thick layer.

Add the nutmeg.

I baked it for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Voila that's it.

Let me know how you liked it!
