Jake had his first speech therapy session today. It went fairly well, except that I got lectured for being too late even though I was there 15 minutes early, but the lady at the front desk forgot to call the therapist until 15 minutes already into the appointment. Neither to say I had a bad day already from the start...
Jake did great though. We worked on his "s" sounds. He says things like "tar" instead od "star" and so on... But he seems to get the hang on it and we just need to practise, practise, practise!
A really funny thing is that now everytime I either can't understand him or choose to ignore his whinning he says to me "Mommy look! (points to his mouth and says really slowly) I want marshmallows!"
