My husband

My Mom complained today that i never mention Scot on my blog... even that's not entirely true, but here we go a post just about Scot for my Mom!

My husband is a great father to our son... I know, I know everyone says that, but I really believe that. He spends A LOT of time with Jake. Thanks to his "choice of career" he is able to spend some great quality time with Jake from the beginning. He teaches him all the fun stuff... like how to roll down the hill, climb a tree, make mud cakes, etc! He is the one who takes him to the park! I like going to the park with him, but Scot LOVES to take him to the park. Scot is the one who gives up his side of the bed when Jake comes to us in the middle of the night. I usually don't even notice, but Scot takes care of the mid-night problems! He is the one who gets up a little earlier in the morning to bring him his milk... for me that can just wait, but e thinks that's important. And that's why I love him so much... he watches out for the little things that might not seem to be so important but really are!
Scot can be a kid himslef and when the two of them chase each other around the house... I really do think sometimes I have two!
This afternoon he is going to take Jake to the doc for his bug bite... since I had my fair share of doc visits! To sum it up, he is just meant to be Jakeys Dad and he is doing a damn good job!



My husband doesn't know the difference between a utility knife and a craft knife! He doesn't know how to change the ringer on his cell phone or how to delete voice messages. He has a hard time hammering a nail into the wall, but he doesn't need too... he has me! But he knows everything that is going on in politics, he knows everything about history, and is really good at what he does for a living!

Scot is not perfect, but he is perfect for us and that's why we love him!
