best toy ever

finn is our little gremlin. nothing is safe. he is just looking for something new to get in to, destroy, chew on, climb on, etc...

it is really hard to keep him occupied to get anything done.

but i think we (actually jakey) found the perfect toy for our gremlin.

birthday video

Thanks to the blizzard I finally got to upload some videos of Jake.
This one is from the morning of his birthday. He is coming down the stairs to the kitchen decorated for his birthday... he is so excited and I love how he stops and gives his Daddy a big kiss and a hug! A little bit dark, but still cute!
Also, no one farted! That's one of those lines he loves to say... lol weired kid, I know!

Flashback

When I grew up in Germany we only had three channels! Back then the three main stations would have "cartoons" in between their commercial breaks... I guess to motivate people to sit through them. The third channel was a regional station from where I lived in Germany. The region is called swabia and they are known for their horrific dialect.
Their "commercial break" was a monkey and a horse doing funny skits!
In German they would be called "Pferd und Affe", but in Swabian it is "Aeffle uns Pferdle".

Not much going on here lately, no new pictures, new stories, etc... so an old video will have to do

Btw Jakey is the little chubby baby and the boy next to him is Eli... one of the boys I used to babysit. Eli was in this video three years old... Jake's age now. Wow, time flies by!

I also found out today that I will be needing surgery on both feet. So, next week Wednesday I will be under the knife. Just the thought of it makes me sick right now and I am pretty nervous about the whole thing. Especially because I won't be able to walk 3-5 days... hehehe, yeah right have a 3 year old! But it will be a good excuse to skip school!


Speaking (Typing) of which I have to get ready for another loooong day at school tomorrow...



PS: I have added a autoplay song by Club 8 that I totally fell in love with. I realize it interferes with Elmo's song, but I really don't want to take it off. You can just pause the song on the right hand side on the bottom of the bar.
