beautiful detour

We wanted to meet at Stanberry Park to go hiking with our friends Ben, Tommy & Nina. But once we got to the park, it was closed! I think the storm a few weeks ago knocked down some trees and the trails are therefor still closed.
The weather was beautiful and we just wanted to do something... we all drove together to Loveland to walk on the bike trail, but almost there we decided lets go back and go to East Fork Lake. It was totally not planned and it would habe been nice to take some extra clothes, towels and chairs, but we made the best out of it.
It was sooooo relaxing! Most of the time the boys played by themselves and I just closed my eyes and enjoyed the sun! Beautiful afternoon!

Lucky for Bailey, we didn't see the "NO Dogs on the beach" signs... (wink)











We are going to try to do this again sometime soon!
