photoshoot

My best friend and her daughter came over Monday night and stayed till Tuesday early evening. We made sure we put the kiddos early to bed on Monday so we could watch "Martian Child", eat ice cream and get drunk on Bailey's. The movie was awesome and I made blueberry sauce to go with the vanilla ice cream... hmmm, hmmm yum! But do you think we can get drunk? We were so tired and went to bed before we even got a buzz! I know - sad...
The next morning we had a little photoshoot for Lilly's first birthday pictures. And I think we got some really good ones. See for yourself:

In the afternoon we took both kiddos to the Newport Aquarium. They were both so good and we had a great time together. Jake saw sharks, turtles, two (!) fishies and crocogators! We fed the parakeets and watched the sharks being fed.
